Major works programme

Every year St Vincent’s invests in upgrading and improving our properties. This ensures that we are meeting the current and future needs of our customers.

Gas servicing

The majority of our homes have some form of Gas appliance in it and, as is set down in Law, we have a responsibility to make sure they are safe for our customers to use.

To do this across nearly 300 properties, we have a programme set up which is followed rigidly, which runs throughout the year. This programme is delivered by our main Partner; Liberty, in conjunction with our Planned Works Team.

Asbestos

Asbestos is a naturally occurring material which was widely used in buildings up until the late 1980’s. White asbestos was used up until 1999. Asbestos can be found in most homes in the UK that were built before the year 2000.
