National Apprenticeship Week

Thursday, 08 February 2024

This week is National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) running from 5th to 11th February and marking the 17th annual celebration of apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses, and the economy.

This year's theme is "Skills for Life". We have had many apprentices start or develop careers with MSV over the years and below you can read about two of our success stories; Callum and Jack.

We currently have 3 apprentices within Property Care (2 Electricians and a Heating Engineer) and we wish them all the best with their training, learning and development.

Jack Holden
Multi-Trade Trainee

Jack started his Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship in July 2021, building up his knowledge and portfolio in plumbing and joinery.

After completing his qualification (where he received a distinction in his exams) he was promoted to a Multi Trade Trainee in September 2023 as part of our Property Care Team.

Callum Jones
Head of Compliance & Building Safety

Callum joined MSV as an Apprentice Development Surveyor in December 2011. Speaking about his experience to date, he said “The MSV apprenticeship programme was a brilliant opportunity for personal development.  It provided the ideal platform to build on existing skills and showcase my potential, whilst developing the skills and knowledge to become an established industry professional.”
